Friday, October 06, 2017
A Parkland College Athletics coach was listed among four coaches by the National Junior College Athletic Association for having achieved milestone coaching career wins last month.
Volleyball Head Coach Cliff Hastings was recognized for having recorded his 400th career victory at Parkland in his nine seasons here, after the Cobras' Sept. 15 win over Greenville JV.

Parkland College is the two-time defending NJCAA DII volleyball champions, having won the title in 2015 and 2016. The Cobras also finished second at the national tournament in both 2013 and 2014. Hastings helped extend the Cobras current winning streak to 46 matches before a loss to No. 2 Owens. The No. 1 ranked Cobras are 31-1 on the year.

The three other coaches marking milestones were men's soccer coaches Michael Pantalione of Yavapai College (Arizona) and Alex Louis of Union County (New Jersey), as well as volleyball coach Sonny Lewis of Owens Community College (Ohio).
